Voicemail was already logged into

I got a voicemail after my phone didnt ring and tried to login and it said that someone had already logged on with my password and to try again later. Then the visual voicemail popped up and said that the voicemail was from direct TV with an offer. When I logged into my actual voicemail a few minutes later that voicemail from direct TV was gone. And then a couple seconds later I got a call from direct TV again but when I pressed answer it didnt pick up and said I missed the call. I am so confused.

We want to look into what caused those messages when trying to access your voicemail and upon answering the phone of an incoming call. We like to know more about your experience.

  • How is the signal strength on your device, poor or strong?
  • Are you now able to successfully sign in to your voicemail?
  • Have you ever received a similar message when answering other incoming calls?

It's likely your voicemail box password may need resetting. Follow these instructions to do just that.

I do not have a great signal at my house anymore. Over the past year I have had maybe 1 or 2 bats where I used to have 4 or 5 bars. I've never had that message when I've entered my password before. I am able to access my voicemail now.

That is very unusual, indeed. We recommend resetting your voicemail password online.

  1. Go to your account overview and open the My Wireless section.
  2. Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device you want to manage.
  3. Select Manage my device.
  4. Under Device options & settings, choose Reset voicemail password and follow the prompts.

Why does my voice mail say Someone has already entered the voice mail with that pass word. Please try again later. Is it possible for someone else to have remote access to my voice mail?
