Hello there @WarriorQueen , we're happy to help with troubleshooting the delay in receiving your voicemails. We understand how important this is.

To start, let's check your device settings. Check Settings > Notifications > Phone. Make sure that notifications are on and that the Badge App Icon is enabled. Also, make sure that you're using your voicemail on cellular data and not Wi-Fi.

  • Temporarily disable Wifi and see if any notifications come through.
  • You can also try using our troubleshoot and resolve tool for detailed voicemail troubleshooting steps and common solutions. Simply select the Make and Model of your device and Sign in to run real-time diagnostics on your voicemail.

Keep in mind: Your phone needs a wireless connection to receive calls, access voicemail, download Visual Voicemail messages, and get voicemail notification alerts. To check that your signal is strong enough for this:

  1. Turn your phone off for 10 seconds and then back on.
  2. Place a test call to 611.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • If the test call is successful, press and hold 1 to dial into the voicemail system.
    • If your test call fails, confirm you have wireless coverage.
    • If Visual Voicemail won't download, press and hold 1 to check your messages.
    • If you aren't getting voicemail notification alerts and you aren't traveling outside the AT&T wireless coverage area, see how to turn voicemail notification alerts on and off

Lastly, please note that, you will want to change your address on your account if you moved, as this may also affect the time zone on your device. Making you receive your voicemail late.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach back out. We'll be happy to help.
