Voicemail - Reset password resets the whole thing?!?!?
I forgot my voicemail password and it was prompting me for it when I tried to call the voicemail number on my iPhone 6, which was weird. I googled how to reset my voicemail password and reset it using AT&T's website and signing in, which to my surprise ended up resetting my voicemail box completely. I still had my saved voicemail messages but my greeting, which I *loved*, got totally erased, and I had no idea that was going to happen with just a simple password switch! What the heck!!!
Is there anything I can do to recover the lost greeting? Help?

We hate that it appears you've lost your voicemail greeting, @daecallspeople!
When resetting a voicemail password all voicemail messages remain intact. Since you're able to access your saved voicemail messages your previous voicemail box should still be available. Let's look into this for you!
Try resolving your experience by refreshing your connection to the network by power cycling your device. Simply power your phone off for several minutes then back on. Additionally, if your experience persists despite the first step, make sure to check that your device is installed with the latest software.
Use our Device Support tool to find if a software update is due and even how to reset your device. Once you've selected your device's make and model choose Troubleshooting then Rest device for instructions on power cycling your device and System followed by Software version for information about updating your phone's software. Afterwards, test your result.

The greeting was one that I recorded a long time ago, so it had a lot of memories for me. I'm actually really angry that it would reset my greeting without the website even saying that that happens once you reset your voicemail password.

I already set my new voicemail greeting which sucked. :( Would I still be able to recover the old greeting or am I stuck with the new one? Thank you so much again!
