Visual Voicemail

Why does ATT continue to run customers in circles trying to set up Visual Voicemail? One thing that should be very clear. The Samsung S22 Ultra IS capable of visual voicemail. It is AT&T that does not support it on the S22U. They insinuate it is a problem with the phone, it is not.

I spent hours going in circles with your tech people and the last one finally confessed that it is an issue that AT&T does not want to address. This was back when the S22U was newly introduced. It looks like the same issue still exists, if I am wrong, show me and I will retract my statement happily!

In the interim, you continue to lie to customers, insinuating it is the phone that is not capable. You are wrong, a coworker on a different network uses his with no issue.

AT&T, fix the problem!

If it were that simple everyone with a problem would have already downloaded that app

I am getting the run around between Samsung and ATT. I am not receiving any voicemail through visual voicemail and ATT support is telling me it's Samsung. Samsung says it's ATT's fault and all they can do is restore my phone to factory settings. This is not what I expected from an $1800 phone. I wish I'd kept my old iphone now.

They will not admit to you that AT&T is the problem and that is absolutely the case the moment you put their SIM card in your phone they take over not only did they install their own apps which makes sense of course but they installed at least 10 games. AT&T SIM card stops you from allowing visual voicemail to have permission that you should be in charge of granting. I went back to Xfinity and thankfully my very expensive phone is now just as useful as it always was I'd rather pay a few dollars more for my service and actually get to use my phone then have some company run me around dragon with lies telling me that my phone is the problem when they know their company is the problem and they're not willing to fix it they cater to iPhone users they're not smart enough to care about Samsung users and we are loyal people I know I have multiple Samsung devices AT&T is a sham and I'm glad I went back to Xfinity! I totally understand the pain you're going through I wouldn't wish it on someone I dislike how frustrating it was that small amount of time I was with AT&T was too long!

@

@tmjohnson57  I sorry for running the gamut. I have been there with AT&T on a different subject. This is not a Samsung issue. Again, it works with other network providers, from VM transcript over Wifi Calling over a number of other issues. I can only say that AT&T is a (Edited per community guidelines) to work with and this experience is telling me to never consider them for a personal line

Then it is a feature that AT&T pulled (at least) from Samsung. And the issue is AT&T specific

This was started relating only to the S22U. It is an ATT issue however I cannot speak to other phones.

How the heck do we know that thing is safe??  I got bells and whistles and alarms flashing all over the place???   Where did it come from?  How do we get updates if they ever happen? 🤔
