Visual Voicemail

How do I reset my visual voicemail. I have a lgK40, I recently updated my phone and then i got a notification for a visual voicemail. I went to open the app and it prompted me for a password. I never used a password before how do i create one?

It's recommended that you reset your voicemail password prior to accessing Visual Voicemail. To reset that voicemail password follow the steps below. First, make sure you're in an AT&T wireless coverage area or you won't be able to create a new voicemail password.

 

  • Go to your account overview and open the My Wireless section.
  • Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device you want to manage.
  • Select Manage my device.
  • Under Device options & settings, choose Reset voicemail password and follow the prompts.

 

Once complete you should try opening the Visual Voicemail app. If presented with the message again use the password you just established to try to gain access.
