Visual voicemail having "system errors" cannot create my voicemail.

I have tried many times on several different occasions to set up my visual voicemail but every time I try to do so I get the same pop up saying that there is a system error and to try again. This happens without fail everytime I've tried to set it up.

Are you in the United States and connected to the AT&T cellular network? Do you currently have any voicemail setup? If you didn't set up your voicemail in the first 60 days, you have to have your entire voicemail box reset by calling AT&T and asking for assistance. Then you can set up voicemail as usual whether they're call in or visual voicemail
