Unavailable voicemail on iPhone XS

People are unable to leave voicemails to my phone. I have tried resetting settings, calling 1, changing my greeting, setting a voicemail password, and making sure my network connection is good. Nothing works. I read that you have to set up voicemail within 60 days of upgrading phone, but wasn’t aware I had to do anything special. I would like my voicemail capabilities back. How is this done?

In order to best assist, we want to know:

how long has this been going on
did you check if your voicemail box may be full
what AT&T plan are you currently on
are you having this difficulty with all carriers or specific ones

You can also try our troubleshooting tool for the voicemail error.
