Scammed by ATT store rep
Do not buy anything from the ATT section of the Target store in Reston Virginia!! ATT representatives in the Target store scammed us with fake deals. Promised an upgrade with a non existent deal and wasted our time for a couple of hours just to place an order. After this ordeal we realized he ordered the phone to a wrong shipping address and on calling the ATT online customer care was told that such a deal doesn't exist and we have to pay 3x of what was initially promised. All in all we wasted an entire day just dealing with ATT customer reps in cancelling this order. Highly disappointed did not expect to be scammed from in store reps.

People on Target and other big box stores are not AT&T employees. How do you know that the rep did not give you correct information? If you switch to AT&T and took part of the trade-in deal did they explain that your first bill is more than one month's service, your trade in credits don't start for 3 months, and you pay a $30 activation fee all of which makes the first bill quite large.

I was scammed by AT&T representative at target store in Gastonia NC. With a promotion pulled it up on his tablet any phone any condition trade in for free phone. My phone bill would have been 75.00 a month. New phone come to house switched everything over, shipped my old phone in box that was provide. I knew phone bill would be a little higher first couple months. After that it didn't go down. I didnt get the promotion i was told i would get, and being charged for new phone and scammed into contract. It's very evident AT&T knows this is going on they hundreds if not thousands of complaints. Sad part is I've been with AT&T since 2002 and will part ways if not fixed.

@Skippeo01
Here we go again...
The deal has more requirements. Did you read the deal?
Go to the sales page and look up the phone you purchased. Then read the deal associated with your phone. Expand all the arrow points and read everything including the list of eligible phones.
