Samsung S5 Lollipop Has Arrived, But....

I kick myself for being amoung the first to load a new operating system. There seems to always be something that is a real negative. Lollipop 5.0 fits nicely into that category. Specifically, Battery Life seems to have taken a major hit. Now, I can't wait for the next release that hopefully fixes this..

Additionally, it doesn't look like 5.0 has resurrected app's ability to write to the external SD card. I can't imagine what got into Google, or whomever is responsible, that would make them want to disallow this great feature..

do a factory reset then your battery life should get better.  I always wipe before and after a new os upgrade.  Lollipop change some of the file structures in android.

I was afraid someone in-the-know would say that. Are you talking about the "Factory Data Reset" or the Hard Reset, from the powered-off state?

im talking about wiping the phone clean and starting fresh.  So factory reset.  This way if you have an app that is playing bad with lollipop you will know.
