Numbersync gets deactivated and can't make it work again. (this is a repost to get chat started again)

Numbersync randomly deactivates. Last time it happened was a few days ago, but I was able to just set it up again. Then it happened this morning, but I can't make it activate again. The process begins, but it hangs on the phone every time (pictured frozen loader). Sometimes it will go to the next screen, but it just hangs at what I'm showing in the second picture.

I got Numbersync working months ago and yeah it would randomly stop working, but I'd be able to just set it up again.

Also, why does it get deactivated in the first place? I get a message (pictured) that tells me that I have turned off Numbersync, when I most definitely never have turned it off myself.

Anyway, I reinstalled the Galaxy wear app on my phone. Then to reconnect I had to reset my watch which was super frustrating because now I need to get everything set up how I like it again. Watch is on latest software update, as is phone.

But still not working. What is going on?

Yes I legit became preoccupied with my kid's birth in that time so I couldn't finish it. The chat advised me to repost, hence my parenthetical addition to this post's subject line. If I was supposed to only bump my last post, I could do that, just let me know. Thanks.
