Number sync galaxy tab A7 lite and S9 phone

Are these devices compatible with number sync?

I'm getting an error upon setup completion. I received the tablet yesterday from ATT online.

@ATTHelp The error I receive is "registration failed"

My question was if my phone and tablet are capable. That does not seem clear.

When I look for Number sync in the Google play store, I do not see a specific app for number sync.

Thank you for reaching back out to us! Yes both devices show as compatible for use with NumberSync!

Please note: You must have a user ID associated with your smartphone number to sync your Android tablet. Each smartphone number must have its own user ID. If you don't have a user ID, you can create one during the set-up process. (If you haven't already, you'll need to create your User ID to ensure proper setup.)

Here are detailed instructions on how to set up Numbersync for your Galaxy S9 device. To get detailed instructions for you Galaxy A7 tablet, simply switch the device at the top of the page!

You will need to download the Samsung Wearable app

Let us know if you have trouble or any other questions or concerns!

@ATTHelp can you clarify what you mean by each smartphone number must have its own user ID?

I don't see a way to do that.

@ATTHelp  thanks for confirming my devices are compatible.

I have the wearable app, but it , just like the manage number sync manager on ATT site, wants me to set up a watch not a tablet.

Thanks for responding @Wagne223.

Just to clarify, the above applies if you are setting up NumberSync on multiple phone lines. Since you only have the one, once you've set up the one user ID, you should be good to go.

Please let us know if this works for you.

@ATTHelp  thanks for clarifying.

I have gone through the pages and info that you have sent, most of which I had found prior to posting here, and I still cannot get the tablet to sync.

Still the same error.

We want to get you into a DM to walk through a few additional troubleshooting steps together @Wagne223.

Check the message icon in the upper right-hand portion of the page and reply.

In the meantime, gather your account information and confirm that you have completed the steps outlined for setting up your Samsung tablet to AT&T Numbersync, and we'll get started working towards a solution.

Again, keep an eye out for our Direct Message. Thank you.
