Hello Sblakley1, we will be more than happy to assist you in unblocking a phone number.

In order to provide support we just need a little more information:

  • Is your doctor's office unable to call, text, or both? The reason we need to know this is to provide a solution tailored to what's causing your experience.

Here is how to remove a number from the Blocked numbers list, from the Messaging app select the Menu icon > Blocked contacts. Select UNBLOCK next to the desired number

We have a support article with instructions on how to unblocked phone numbers.

Give this a try and let us know.

They do not text they only call. I removed all blocked numbers from my phone and they are still unable to get through.

Hello, @Sblakley1! We understand how frustrating it can be to not be able to receive phone calls from your doctor's office.

Thank you for confirming that the phone number is not blocked. By chance, do you have the ActiveArmor Security Mobile App? If so, the one lines phone number may be blocked by ActiveArmor.

We recommend checking the Nuisance calls settings in the Network Call Preferences menu on your ActiveArmor Mobile Security App.

  • If Spam Risk is set to Block, you should change the setting to Flag or Send to Voicemail if you're concerned you are missing calls from numbers that you want to receive.
  • Once you’ve accepted the Terms & Conditions, you can access your call features. Just open the app and choose Calls to access your call logs and more. Don’t forget to uninstall the AT&T Call Protect app if you havent done so already.

You may also visit our Wireless Support tool for some troubleshooting steps. Go to Fix My Wireless > Connection > Phone Calls > Can't receive some calls > then follow the prompts.

We hope this information is helpful, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!
