My sim card is locked up

I have taken it out and reset it and it keeps saying I don't have any network connection because my sim card is blocked

If it says blocked from network, it's probably an issue with your phone. Either the phone is blacklisted is lost or stolen, or the phone is not compatible with AT&T LTE network.

What phone?   Please list the brand, model name, and full model number.

Did you purchase the phone from AT&T or from a third party?

Hello there @euell2, we're here to help with your SIM card.

As @formerlyknownas stated the many ways for a SIM card block.

If you locked your SIM and do not remember the code, we have you covered.

How to unlock a SIM with a PIN Unlock Key (PUK)

  1. Go to your account overview within myAT&T and open the My Wireless section
  2. Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device that needs a PUK code
  3. Select Manage my device.
  4. Under See device options, select Get your PIN unlock key (PUK).

If after swapping the SIM and confirming or adding a compatible data feature, you still can’t use data, you may need to program the correct APN and MMS data settings to use data services on the new device.

Swap SIM card

To swap a SIM, sign in to your myAT&T account to complete the following steps. If you’re new to using myAT&T to manage your AT&T PREPAID (formerly GoPhone) account, the user name is your 10-digit wireless number, and the initial password is the last 4 digits of your wireless number.

  1. At the top of the page, select My Device.
  2. Select Update Device.
  3. Enter the IMEI, enter *#06# on your device to get your IMEI.
  4. Enter the SIM Card Number.
  5. Select Continue.
  6. Power off the device.
  7. Remove the old SIM card.
  8. Insert the new SIM card.
  9. Power on the device.

We hope this information helps and feel free to reach back out to Community Forums.
