iPhone SE 2nd Gen eSIM
Is it possible to use two phone numbers that are already on an existing AT&T wireless plan on an iPhone SE Second Generation? I have had zero luck with local AT&T store. Received conflicting answers via support online. I have a plan with 4 lines. I don't wish to change my plan. I want to use two of the four existing phone numbers on a single phone. One number has been my cell number since 1998. The second number was an old house number transferred to cellular about 12 years ago and is used as contact number for my professional license.

Oh my gosh. I don't know who you've spoken with but there is no reason you can't put two phone numbers that are on the same plan and already exist on the same phone. One as a physical Sim and the other as an e Sim. Apple even provides the information on how to transfer a phone number to the esim.

As does At&t.

The third generation iPhone SE has an e Sim. The second SE did not have dual sim
It is possible with a compatible phone.
And you're right there is conflicting information. It looks like the second generation SE was dual SIM, but possibly not the one sold in the USA. Look in your phone's settings. If you see two IMEI numbers, it does have 2 sim capabilities.
You would have to migrate one of your phone numbers to the E Sim. Pick up an esim QR card at an AT&T store.
If you do not see two IMEI, then you have a single SIM phone

Thank you. Yes, it does have two IMEI numbers. IMEI 2 shows as available. Everyone has said I could use two numbers on the phone. What they don't agree on and what I need is for the two numbers to be on the same plan and already in existence as my phone numbers.

Of course they can be your two existing numbers. Unfortunately, finding someone who knows how to activate an esim with an existing number isn’t so easy.

So do you have SIM cards for the two numbers you want on the iPhone? If so, just put one SIM card into the iPhone, convert it to an esim using the instructions above, then replace that SIM card with the other SIM card.

I drove to another town an hour away and that At&t Store employee had no problem adding my phone number that was on my Samsung Note 9 to the iPhone as my Primary Number and designating my then iPhone number as my Business number. I took the information you all provided just in case, but he knew right away I didn't need to have two separate wireless accounts to use the SE with two different phone numbers. Lesson learned. Don't trust the At&t store employees in Wichita Falls. Thank you all for your help.
