How to enable *67?

My kid keeps using *67 on their phone so i cannot see who they are calling and deleting it off their device. Is there a way that i can enable the *67 feature all together?

I think you have a misunderstanding on how this all works. https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1001056/

1. You want to enable this feature so you can do it too? That is what enabling it does. I suspect you want to disable.

2. The code *67 does not prevent you from seeing who they call. It blocks their Caller ID info, so hiding it from the person they are calling.

3. They can always delete their call history off the phone. But the account usage details will still show the date/time stamp, incoming/outgoing, and length of every call made from the phone. There is no way to hide that info as nobody can delete that off the account.

@Juniper  yes disable . I apologize but on the call log . It shows at 0000000000 and will not show the number they are calling. So i want to disable her ability to do it

That is what the call log on her phone shows? She may be using some sort of app to do that, but that still will not affect usage details on the account. As long as it is a voice call, and not through a data service, then just log into the account to see what number she is calling.

Otherwise the option is to take the phone away if the privilege is being abused.

@Juniper  🏆 great advice.

  Having a cell phone is a privilege not a right. As a parent I would yoink that sucker and the only time they'd get it back is if it were for my convenience that they needed to have it.

Glimmerman used to give his kids a flip phone if they were on restriction.

Hi there, let's get you the information you require.

Using the code *67 will block the caller ID on that particular device for the person they're calling. You can find more information on caller ID and how it works by visiting our website.

Since you've mentioned seeing only zero's as the number, it seems like the person who is contacted from the device is using the code *67. Or like Juniper has mentioned, it could be caused due to an app that is installed on the device.

Additionally, you can log into the myAT&T or on our website to check your usage on all your devices to get a better idea on what is happening. Wireless-only service: Look in Usage by number section, find the device you want to manage, and select View more usage details and options. Choose See data, text, and talk logs.

We hope this information helps!

Thank you,
