How do I unflag a number in Call Protect
I am using the free version of Call Protect and it has flagged the school district’s notification number as a severe risk. I MUST receive calls from this number as it is how the school district notifies families of emergency school closures and other important information. The number is NOT blocked in the app, and there appears to be no way to unflag it. I submitted a Not Spam report but that is not a very satisfying solution as I have no idea whether that will actually resolve the situation. I see several other instances of this same question in which the AT&T response is to unblock the number in the app, but the number is NOT BLOCKED to begin with, so please do not send that as an answer!!

What in the world is the “Hiya help desk”? Fior an AT&T app, why isn’t there someplace to go in AT&T to request that the school district number be removed from the spam list?

Greetings @gardener,
We'd like to guide you in the right direction in regards to removing the school district number from the spam list.
The ''Hiya Help desk'' allows you to submit a request to remove the school district from the spam list. Feel free to go to one of your local AT&T stores for assistance.

Hiya is the company that maintains the AT&T Call Protect app. AT&T just puts its name on it. As for the actual problem, companies get on the negative list because users report them as being spammers. It's their fault for this happening. You can submit a request to have the number removed, but it would be better if the school district itself made the request.

Hey AT&T, this HIYA is stupid. Why do I have to provide you with a company contact, email, and telephone number if I am trying to give you information that a particular company number is flagged incorrectly? Especially when I have no clue who you need to contact at the company. The number that is flagged is right on their website as the customer service contact number. How about maybe having an actual person check into these reports of spam on the app to verify if the number is legit before flagging and then program the app to respond that the number has been verified as a legitimate number from whatever company owns it when someone tries to flag it, just because they don't want a call saying that their bill is past due. It continued to block this particular number even after I added it to my contact list.
