How do I permanently delete old alerts in Personal ID Monitor?

I have deleted a stack of security alerts in my Mobile Security App after dealing with them - some of which were 4-5 years old when I received them. I deleted them, but they keep coming back! It is becoming quite a nuuissance to have to keep deleting the same alerts every day. Can someone tell me how to permanently delete these old/dealt-with alerts?

Hello, @marindavid,

Thank you for reaching out. There are two things you can do that might clear the alerts and keep them from returning:

  • Go into Apps and see if AT&T Mobile needs an update. if so, tap Update to do so.
  • Go into Settings>Apps for AT&T Mobile Security. Tap Clear App Cache.

If you don't see quite how to do either on your device, let us know what you have so we can provide the steps for your phone. If neither helps, let us know so we can investigate further.

Have a merry Christmas.

No go. App is fully updated and tried second suggestion. No go.

If I cannot be rid of these things continuing to re-appear, I shall cancel the service.

Please try again.

Hello, @marindavid,

Thanks for that information. Could you let us know what type of device this is? Thank you.

ATTs 'support' page offers nothing: live support can't figure it out. This APP has become more of a nuisance than a help and I shall cancel my subscription to it until/unless ATT can tell me it has figured out its own APP more completely.

Frustration ... time wasted ....

I did go ahead and cancel my subscription ... now using the Norton Security APP that I get for nothing as it is included in my Comcast/Xfinity service. Nothing lost for me - and, it would appear that the situation means nothing to ATT.

Hi, @marindavid,

Thanks for that. For assistance, you'll need to report this issue through the Get Help With the AT&T Mobile Security page. Scroll down for the app support link.

Have a great week.

Canceled my subscription after reading this. I have been trying for over a week to resolve this issue. AT&T does not respond to email support and there support website eventually leads to broken links. Good concept for an app, but the support and functionality are flawed.
