How do I change the rings on my phone from 2 to more before the voice mail kicks in.

My voice mail kicks in before I can answer it. Please help....Thank you.

Hey there @Anible, we'd be happy to help you with the amount of rings for your phone service.

First we recommend using this method:

Sign in to your myAT&T account.
Go to Account Overview > My Digital Phone > Check or manage voicemail & features.
On the Voicemail Settings tab, scroll to General Preferences and select Set Number of Rings Before Voicemail.
Chose a seting ranging fom 1 ring (6 seconds) to 6 rings (36 seconds).
Select Save.

You can also search for the manual of your specific type of phone for steps to adjust the number of rings before your voicemail answers.
