Hello @Broady, we'll be happy to look into what's going on with your app, while trying to unlock your phone.

If you haven't already try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

There are more methods for Managing Android Apps that we recommend you try, such as clearing the app's cache by going to the Settings > Apps > desired app > Storage > Clear cache or force stopping the app by going to Settings > Apps > desired app > Force Stop.

If you want to submit a device unlock request, we also recommend you go to our device unlock portal to do so instead of using the app.

The response from ATTHelp is appropriate, as they can't decipher this either... 

once i prhere must be another step tp keep it unlocked  what should i do?ess the unlock button the block symbol go away  but it comes back when i either ut ok buttom or restar the phone

For gosh sakes, translate this into English as we know it.
