Thank you for reaching out to us @Soufy.

We now support eSIM for some of the recent Samsung devices, including the S21. To get an eSIM, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to your myAT&T account overview.
  2. Scroll to My devices.
  3. Choose Manage for the device that needs a new eSIM.
  4. Scroll to Options & settings and select Get a new eSIM.
  5. Confirm your selection to Get a new eSIM.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete your eSIM setup.

If you have any additional questions, please let us know and we'll be glad to assist you further. Thank you for contacting our AT&T Community.

Thanks for letting us know, @Soufy.

Since you don't have the "Get a new e-sim" option available in your account, then you may need to set it up first.

For AT&T Wireless, make sure the eSIM is on an active plan, then download it over Wi-Fi.

  1. Go to your device settings.
  2. Tap one of the following (what you see depends on your device):
    • AT&T Cellular Plan Ready to be Installed, then Continue
    • Cellular, then Add Cellular Plan

Also please be advised, that eSIMs are only available for the following android devices: Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G and Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G.

Let us know how this helps!

Which is it? In the first response you said you support the samsung s21 and in the second you mention it only supports the 2 Galaxy note20s. It would good if you clarify with your staff which is correct because it makes it frustrating for the users. Thank you

I couldn't get it to work on my Samsung S21. I went to ATT store and the agent told me it works best on iphone and that he doesn't recommend it for Android phones. Not sure why ATT advertises it as if it works for all phones.

I ordered a new Iphone SE 2022 from Apple. How do I transfer my current number from the old phone to the new phone using eSim? I'm confused. Or should I just move my sim card from my old phone?

Bought not 1 but 2! S22 ultra only to find out I cannot use the esim on that device as yet. Apparently it's something that hasn't been ironed out between ATT and Samsung. They really should let you know that though. This is the only reason I bought thise phones at this point.
