eSim and Sim Manager not enabled on Samsung S20 Ultra

I have still been unable to get a straight answer about the esim support.  I purchased the phone from AT&T with the understanding, from both the reps and marketing material, that it would support esim.  My version came with 2 IMEI numbers on the box which further lent to the belief that the phone would support esim.  After nearly 4 months of weekly communication with AT&T and Samsung, I am no closer to esim support or even having an engineer provide a concise answer.  This is HIGHLY frustrating since I feel that I was misled and that altered my decision making prior to purchase.  I have been told by Samsung that it is up to the carrier to support and I am told by the carrier that Samsung has not enabled it yet.  Which is it? When is this UPDATE happening since I need it for work?

We can definitely answer your question, @rlawhorn

We're terribly sorry about the confusion surrounding eSIM technology and would like to provide you with info about AT&T supported dual SIM devices.

iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR are the only AT&T devices that support dual SIM technology at this time. We'll continue to provide updates as new devices that support the technology become available.

Thank you for the opportunity to answer your question. Please let us know if you have others.

Thanks but the confusion started with At&t selling me the phone stating it was supported. If i had known this $1500 paperweight was not supported, then i would have bought an IPHONE instead.  To make matters worse, the local ATT reps in store tried for hours to get it to work because you clearly stated it would. Then, protech support told me an update would be coming soon (4 months ago) to enable it. Highly frustrating since i wasted alot of money on vaporware.   Even Samsung states it is supported but needs to be turned on by Att.
