Cannot access customer contacts

• What is the make and model of your device? Knowing what device this is for will allow us to find more specific troubleshooting steps for these issues, so you can regain access to your voicemail and contacts.
• What is the software version of your device? Having the latest software version can improve performance, while having an outdated software version can cause bugs or glitches that otherwise wouldn't occur on your phone. 
• Do you have active AT&T service with this device? We understand you aren't using this device on PREPAID service, however please let us know if you're using it after canceling PREPAID service or after signing up for postpaid service. If you don't have service, then may explain why you're unable to access voicemail.
• What happens when you try setting up your voicemail by pressing 1 on the dialpad? Knowing the exact error code can help us find the root cause, and the appropiate troubleshooting steps to take care of this.
• Have you tried using our wireless support page? You'll be able to troubleshoot your voicemail in the Fix my wireless > Services > Voicemail, and you can troubleshoot your contacts as well by following the steps in Top solutions > Refresh your connection as this may be a connection issue.
