Can no enable wifi calling due to the following error message "need valid address - error code GEO-0074-WS"

I have been trying to enable wifi calling for since starting new service with AT&T wireless a little over a week ago.  I was able to use wifi calling when I had Verizon.  I have spent over 6 hours and talked with 5 people from AT&T customer service and tech support who have been of no help.  The last person forwarded my phone call to Apple.  I have lived at my address for over three years.

Try another address.

Since you wrote Apple, I assume an iPhone, on a line correctly provisioned for an iPhone?

Hey there @clachmann, we understand how important it is to have emergency services, and will be happy to help you.

To assist, we'll need some account information. We're sending you a private message (PM) requesting account details. Please locate the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right-hand corner of the forums page.

In the meantime, try using any valid address to activate Wi-Fi calling or call your local (county?) government communications and ask them how your address should be listed.

We look forward to chatting with you soon.
