Hello @Doodie5,
It is good to block any unwanted numbers. We do have several options to choose from and it’s a very simple process to do!
When it comes to blocking a number, it will always be customer initiated due to privacy and security policies. We do have an awesome feature to help called AT&T SmartLimits. You can block unwanted wireless calls and messages or block caller ID.
Most smartphones do have a block feature built into the phone. You can click here for Device Support on how to place a number on the block list if your phone allows. You will first choose your device and then click on the Tutorials tab > on the left side column, choose Calling > Block calls. You can also search for Block calls. Here will display various tutorials to help you further.
There are some additional things you can do for the prevention of unwanted calls. This link will help with call security for inbound calls as well as this one. You can review our AT&T Call Protect app article for details and information to control nuisance calls.
