At&T voicemail on my iPhone XR keeps saying its full but everything has been deleted
My voicemail keeps saying it is full. I have deleted the voicemails, deleted the old ones, turned the phone on and off, reset voicemail password....nothing is helping! My carrier is AT&T. This phone is my office number, so I am losing business because of this!!!! HELP!

Greetings @feelingsdr
We're sorry to hear that you are having trouble deleting your voicemail. We'd be more than happy to assist you!
You can access your voicemail box by holding down the 1 key on cellphone's dial screen, which will automatically connect you to your voicemail. From there, you can manually delete any saved or unread messages to allow your incoming calls to connect.
If you continue to have problems, you can utilize our Device Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool/ iPhone XS,XS MAX by selecting Voicemail underneath the Service/Network Issues section for additional steps.
We hope this information helps, and have a great afternoon!

I’m having the same problem one of my iPhones, but only on a certain phone number on my account. I’ve never had to hit 1 before to manually delete messages. If I don’t do that, once I get to 40 deleted messages, my mailbox is full again. Being a smart phone, I shouldn’t have to do that. Why only on one of my iPhones do I have to do this, and not all??? I’ve called AT&T 3 times, and every time they say they fixed it after resetting my voicemail. Still having an issue. Is there a delete feature to save deleted messages? Am I missing something?

Do you have visual voicemail on the iPhone? If you do, under the voicemail, there is a deleted messages folder. You can remove the deleted voicemails from there. Once you open the deleted voicemail folder, there is a clear all at the top right.
