We are here to help with your AT&T Secure Family concerns, @knicksmsg.
We understand how important it is to be able to manage your children's device using AT&T Family Secure app and help prevent them from disabling the app on their device, so you can get all the great features that come with the app.
We are always looking for ways to improve and better accommodate our customers. Furthermore, we do take your concerns seriously. We did submit feedback to help us find new ways to manage the AT&T Secure Family app on our children's devices.
If you are wanting to prevent your children from disabling/uninstalling the app, we do recommend reaching out to Apple Support for additional support on parental controls for your iPhones.
We hope this information helps! Thank you for reaching out to AT&T. We are here if you have any other questions or concerns.

I am sorry but this is not the answer I was looking for. Telling me to contact Apple to preveny my child from uninstalling the Companion App is not acceptable.
in the App Store on August 2 AT&T mentioned that parents would be able to prevent deletion of the Companion App in the Fall. Winter officially begins in 3 days.
Thank you for your feedback. The issues you described are well known among the developers and not oversights. We must comply with Apple's developer policies which do not allow the Secure Family App to override iOS settings nor does Apple allow us to block the child from removing the App. The good news is Apple has released a Screen Time API for 3rd party parental control app developers and an updated version of the Companion App will be available this Fall which will require a parental code to prevent removal of the Companion App. The Android version of the Secure Family Companion App does require a special code in order to remove the App from the child's phone. Thank you, AT&T

Apple policy has not allowed developers to prevent removal of Apps in iphones such as the Secure Family Companion on child devices. The good news is Apple has now changed their developer policy for parental control app providers and exposed their technology to allow us to put controls in place to prevent Companion App removal. We are working on a major Secure Family App update scheduled for launch mid-summer 2023 which will include the option for parents to prevent their children from removing the Companion app on their iphone w/o the parent's permission. Hope this helps!
