AT&T Call Protect

I had installed AT&T Call Protect on my Samsung 5 that I bought from AT&T.  I just got a new phone as a gift from my son but he bought it at Best Buy.  I tried to install the app on my new phone and got a message 'your device must be enabled with AT&T HD Voice to use this service.  I am not sure what that is, I am still using my same AT&T plan and account.  Before I go back to Best Buy does anyone know if this won;t work just because it is from someone besides them?

If you new phone is not an ATT branded android you cannot use call Protect.  You can use Hiya.  Hiya is the developer of call Protect.

It can be confusing to receive the message about your line needing HD Voice for Call Protect.  I will be more than happy to help guide you towards the right direction!
