AT&T ActiveArmor

I upgraded my iPhone last week and have replaced the Call Protect & Mobile Security apps with AT&T ActiveArmor. I cannot save any of the data I want monitored. What do you recommend?

We merged AT&T Call Protect and AT&T Mobile Security apps into a single mobile app. It is a free mobile app to help you easily secure your personal data, block spam calls, and more. We provided both call and data security in one app. If the above steps didn’t work, you may have to clear more settings in order to access the app features:

  1. Tap Settings then Application manager/Apps.
  2. Scroll to the All section and tap Google Services. (It may say Google Services Framework, Google Connectivity Services, or Google Play Services.)
  3. Tap Clear Data and then Force Stop.
  4. Go back to the list of apps under your device settings and select Google Play Store.
  5. Tap Clear Data, then Force Stop.
  6. Turn your phone off and back on. (This is important!)
  7. Open the Play Store and try updating the AT&T Active Armor mobile security app again.

Furthermore, if you have a active Call protection on your device make sure that you have followed the set up process to access and use the Active Armor feature.

  1. Download the app from the App store or Google Play store.
  2. Open the app and tap Next or Get Started.
  3. Choose your level of service: Free or Advanced.
  4. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions.

Hey there MrWayneScott, we want to get your drivers license added to the ActiveArmor mobile security app. 

 

Try to update the ActiveArmor mobile security app to see if it corrects the failed error. 

 
If the ActiveArmor mobile security app doesn’t update properly from the App Store, try this:
  1. Go to Settings on your device and tap General.
  2. Tap Software Update and make sure you have the latest version. If you don’t, update it now.
  3. Close settings and open the App Store.
  4. Tap Updates, and select Update next to AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app.

Hi Lorie,

Both the iOS and ActiveArmor app are the latest versions. Maybe I should delete ActiveArmor and reinstall it. I don’t know.

The Identity Monitoring feature requires AT&T ActiveArmor Advanced for $3.99 per month. Subscription auto renews and bills monthly unless canceled. Included at no extra cost with AT&T Unlimited Elite and Extra plans.

 

The basic features of AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security are free to all AT&T wireless postpaid and prepaid customers. However, AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security Advanced includes all the features of the basic app, plus:

  • Public Wi-Fi Protection (VPN and Wi-Fi Alerts): Get your own private connection (VPN) – to protect your data on public Wi-Fi networks.
  • Identity Monitoring: Get alerts and advice if your personal info is leaked.
  • Reverse Number Lookup: Provides details when you enter a U.S. number.
  • Caller ID: Identifies unknown caller details.
  • Safe Browsing: Avoid suspicious sites – surf the web safely.
  • Theft Alerts (Android only): Helps locate your Android smartphone in the event your device is lost or stolen.

Hello,

I had & have a subscription for those advanced features with the AT&T Call Protect app. According to the new app I still have the advanced features. But in Apple subscriptions it still shows as AT&T Call Protect. I will try to include several screenshots. I’m wondering if the name of the subscription matters. What do you think?

Hello @MrWayneScott, let's get you the information for your Active Armor.

 

AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app has a known issue that will resolve on its own with no action needed by the customer or AT&T.

The Spam and Fraud notifications will not work the first few days after launch and will resume working in a matter of days (ETA of 5/3/22). Customers will continue to benefit from the built-in protection with 24/7 proactive network security.

Note that not all ActiveArmor mobile security support links are live at this time.

Got it.
Deleted ActiveArmor.

Restarted iPhone.

Downloaded ActiveArmor.

My data appeared like it did in the former app.
