Is anyone familiary with the text message feature on the Wireless home phone?

As far as I know there is no SMS feature on the WHP or WHPI. It's voice only (voice/data on WHPI).

that is incorrect - there has always been an option to getting text message on a WHP and WHPI. Here is a tutorial - https://www.att.com/device-support/index/ZTE/HomeBaseZ700A/

From a computer or smartphone, connect to the WHP or WHPI WiFi network, use a browser to connect to the IP address (tip: the Duck Duck Go phone app will not work), login and select Messages. You can read or delete your SMS messages.
I would like to know how to send or reply. Your advice will be appreciated.

Hello dbpage, we're here to help!
What device are you using to send or reply to text messages? That way we can look at the manual.
Let us know!

Dear Carlton,
Are you serious? I have the manual here. I have read it. I understand it. I have accessed the feature. I can read and delete SMS messages. I cannot reply, even if to reply "STOP."
To answer you question, there's no real model number other than it says AT&T Wireless Internet SKU 6807B. AT&T sent it to me to replace my 3G unit.
Thanks for looking into it.

Thanks for the response, @dbpage.
Your AT&T wireless internet device does not include the option to respond to messages. This feature is not supported by the device, there's only a reply and delete option.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

"...there's only a reply and delete option" I think you meant the device only supports read and delete. Thank you for confirming.
If there were a way for another device on the network to respond on behalf of the AT&T Wireless Internet Device that would be great, if only to reply "STOP."
If I don't empty the inbox weekly, it will fill up and I won't receive messages from AT&T.
There is an FCC rule that allows users to reply "STOP" to stop SMS messages. The AT&T Wireless Internet Device doesn't support this rule. I think this is an issue by itself.

@Dbpage or Carlton… I did not keep the manual and do not know how to login. I have the same SKU 6807B cellular home phone. I only need to read a message. Any assistance on how to read a text sent to the unit would be great.
Thanks
