Hello @Janet Anderson, let's get you some information on how to connect your mobile Hotspot.


Let's make sure you’re connecting to the hotspot’s network name and using the hotspot password.


Tips to connect to a mobile hotspot


First, know your hotspot name and password. Here’s how to find them.
  • iOS devices: Go to Settings, then Cellular or Personal Hotspot.
  • Android devices: Go to Settings, then Connections or Networks, and finally Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.


If your current plan includes mobile hotspot use. You can learn how to check your mobile hotspot here. You can also change your plan using the article we provided.


In the meantime here is a tool to update your phone and device software  on the AT&T network. You may just need to update the device for your hotspot to function correctly. It is always good to update your device to fix failed updates to your device on our networks.
