Verification code received on text doesn't work

Hello Team, I am facing a very strange issue due to which I am unable to make any changes in my profile (like setting a passcode, changing email ID etc.). Whenever I try to change any details, ATT sends me a verification code on my mobile. When I put this verification code in the box, it gives me this error:

 

Be sure you entered the code correctly. (VORCC02)

 

This is very frustrating. Multiple calls to ATT and a visit to store did not resolve my issue. I just migrated from t-mobile prepaid to att postpaid yesterday and this is very frustrating.

I am requesting help. Please don't suggest cache clearing and app re-install. Issue is faced on my att app as well as on computer.

I am having this same issue and have spoken with the AT&T technical support team and Apple support and am not getting any where. What is the resolution??

Having the same issue, except it’s saying “hmm...looks like you need to use a different phone number to receive your text code.” This shouldn’t be happening, because it’s an easy thing to fix on their end. A quick coding bug fix. I hope it’s not just them trying to cover their butts because they can’t Keep up with demand for the iPhone 11 pro.

Same issue with a recently ported number from tmobile. I receive the SMS with the validation code but when I use the code it is declined with the error message "Be sure you entered the code correctly. (VORCC02)"

Is there any resolution to this issue? I'm facing the same on my account (enter in the verification code that I receive via text message, but it says it is invalid).

I'm joining the list of customers here with the same problem.  I recently ported from VZ, and I'm now trying to add apple watch, another line etc.  I have tried in excess of 20 times to go through the 'shopping cart' process, only to find the verification code is not accepted.  I get the same response as others: "hmm...looks like you need to use a different phone number to receive your text code.”  I haven't seen any responses/resolutions posted here...is this something that fixes itself once the porting process has fully completed?
