Using my att hotspot in Europe
Im traveling to europe in a month and wondering if i will be able to utilize my phones hotspot to connect my laptop. I work remote and need a connection to remote into my workstation in the states. The data being transferred is just input aside from the screen being streamed to my laptop. 20mb/s down and 10-15mb/s up would be minimum req, not the best but i can manage.. Im a little worried about the wifi connections in italy and wondering if ATT hotspot on my phone would be more stable/faster.

Hey there @jgard84, we'd be happy to answer your questions regarding traveling internationally and accessing your mobile hotspot.
To answer your question, if mobile hotspot data is included in your current plan, then you're eligible to use while traveling aboard. Though, be aware international charges will apply to your plan.
Be advised, mobile hotspot data is included in the International Day Pass. This requires a compatible device and a compatible domestic plan. The International Day Pass simply treats international usage as domestic and your domestic rate plan must allow tethering. Adding this pass to domestic plans that do not allow tethering will not provide international mobile hotspot data.
