Unable to see read/delivered through advanced messaging

On 12/7 we began having issues with receiving text messages, but could send them to outside of ATT users.  Then on 12/8 we were not able to send or receive messages from anyone regardless of the provider.  On 12/9 the issue was resolved.  Since 12/7 we also have not been able to show a read/delivered on the text messages.  I personally updated my phone yesterday, 12/14.  I restarted it and turned on/off the advanced messaging feature and the read/delivered is still not showing up.  My husband is on the same plan as i am and his is not showing either.  We both have an LG 8 ThinQ phone and both of us have advanced messaging on.  What could we do to get this fixed?

We'd be happy to help with your read/delivered receipts @nnunez310.

We are glad to hear that the two of you are now able to send and receive messages with advanced messaging.

Please try our messaging troubleshooting tool after changing to your device type.

You'll be able to run through the guide in order to confirm device settings and functionality.

You may also sign-in for a more personalized diagnostic.

Let us know how this helps with the enabling of your read and delivered receipts.

We already went through the trouble shooting tips.  That is how we knew to turn things off and on and restart our phones.  It literally happened overnight BEFORE i did an update on my phone that we were not able to see read/delivered statuses.  And it happened when we were having network issues with the text messages.

We are getting text messages, that is not the issue, the issue is we are not able to see if they have been read/delivered to another person that has advanced messaging as well.  The personalized diagnostic does not offer ANYTHING to do with advanced messaging and nothing in anywhere else is giving us anything to do other than reset the network/phone, update, and/or turn on or off the phone.

While it isn't a huge thing that is happening, it is convenient to know that someone got my message.

Please let me know what else can be done to fix this issue.

All you get now is "crickets".  I am on a different thread with the same issue with my note 20 ultra

It has been this way for about a week.  I think it is the android 11 update that rolled out or it coincidentally happened at the same time.
