Unable to receive text message or verification message

Hi all,


I am pre-paid unlimited 4G plan user with two lines. (One is for me, and the other is for my wife)

Recently my wife and I found that my wife is unable to receive any verification messages to her phone. 

Amazon messages as well as all sort of verification messages from our apartment office, local restaurant order, ... etc. are not received. 


I asked this to AT&T store that I purchased plans, but they just told me they had no idea. 

I would like to ask you all why such thing happen, and what should we do. 


One more thing to tell you is that both of phone numbers are from T-mobile. We used that number from when we were T-mobile prepaid users, and we transferred it. As she did not use any mobile order then, so, we do not know whether same problem was also happened when we were using T-mobile. 


What should we do to solve the problem?

Should we need to change the number that is newly offered by AT&T? (while keeping two lines in my name/account)

Or, should she need to purchase the plan separately?

PS> My wife's phone is iPhone XR. We also checked spam messages and others as well, but found nothing was received. 

There has been no problem with phone calls and text message with other persons (with her friends as well as me).
