How do I get AT&T to stop sending me text messages

I’ve contacted them several times asking to stop and they tell me I won’t get anymore and they just keep on coming

I block one number and they send them thru another number

We can help! You can opt out of marketing messages by logging into your account:

  1. Go to Profile > Communication preferences
  2. If you have multiple accounts, select wireless from the drop-down at the top.
  3. In the Privacy options section, select Marketing preferences.
  4. Update and save your marketing profile preferences.

We've got you covered! In order to modify the notifications you're receiving, we ask that you first log into your myAT&T account. From there, you will want to navigate to Profile > Billing & Payment options > Billing & payment notices. There, you can change your billing notifications. Please let us know if this works, or if you need anything else!

It’s not the marketing texts. It’s the payment reminders (at least two a month) which I don’t need because they are automatically taken from my account. Then the thank you for your payment text , then the congratulations you just saved $5 by having auto pay . I get 3-4 of these a month. Why ???
I like to keep my text income to texts that are important to me and these are senseless and annoying. Various phone calls I have had with AT&T, employees have promised I would no longer get these texts. And they still come. Just loose my number like you have lost all my requests for stoppage.
