Telic CT63NG GSM modem

I am working with a Telic CT63NG modem, and its my first time working with these.

http://www.telic.de/Load/Telemetry/M2M_Terminals/CT63_NG/EN_Datasheet_CT63NG.pdf

In talking with AT&T and checking IMEI compatibility online, it sounds like the unit is supported by the AT&T Network. I purchased a prepaid SIM and activated the account.

I spoke to AT&T support, and they provided two 8-digit numbers to try as the PIN. Basically, the modem is on a remote telemetry system, and is to send a text when it starts up.

The system is reporting errors when connecting, see below.  I grey-out the 8-digit PIN and 10-digit cell number fields. The terminal codes should be standard, but I want to know if I'm on the right track, or if it looks like we are doing something wrong.

My questions:

Can someone confirm that this device is supported?  I can supply the units IMEI to an ATT representative.

Does this look like the correct syntax for the AT&T network?

Thank you for your help!

I have some follow-on information. After further reading, and testing we figured out the issue with the PIN code.

It looks to me like we are still having an issue registering on the network ( = 3). Signal strength is good.

Does anyone have any advise on what I can try next, or who to contact?

Thank you!

Hello there @AUTOM8,

Thank you for taking the time to join us here in the Community Forums. I am pleased to further assist you with your inquiry. Let's go over additional details.

In order to get the best connection for your device, I highly advise to reach out to our ConnecTech team for further assistance here. Additionally, if you are still running into issues after receiving your PIN numbers, I highly suggest also reaching out to the original manufacturer for compatibility support.

I hope this is found to be advantageous. Have an awesome day!
