What is a meassage sent to a short code? And why it how do you send?

This is a great question. I would be glad to help you with your concern regarding short messaging services!

 

Short codes are numbers shorter than a regular 10 digit phone number. These are used as an automated program to handle a response which typically requires you to start the message with a command word or prefix. The service then responds to the command. If you are getting annoyed by them, they usually allow you to cancel it very easily by replying the word STOP.

 

However, they can be useful! We have our own short code services which are available 24/7. Here are some we offer:

  • *DATA# to check the remaining data for your plan.
  • *BAL# to check your account balance.
  • *PAY to pay your bill.
