Service temporarily turned off by provider

I live in the St. Louis area and I keep getting a notification on my phone saying my mobile data has been temporarily turned off by my provider. Its just in the area around my house and we can't call or text. It is very frustrating and confusing. Just started today. The notification comes and goes but the actual service doesn't seem to be coming back.

Help? I can't find anything online to fix this. And I can't call due to the service issue.

Hi @Cathy4639,

Thank you for reaching out. We definitely want to take a look into this.

To better assist, we recommend you provide us your zip code so we can check our towers near you. You can also check the status of towers in your area online.

Please also let us know what specific device you are using and what AT&T plan you are on.

We hope to hear from you soon.

That usually means the bill is past due or the phone has been reported lost or stolen or involved in fraud. Not saying that’s exactly what happens but it the usual reasons

Also, zip code is 63139. Galaxy s10+. My fiance was having the same issue. I didnt see any outages when I looked online. Seems to be ok now? But wanted to make sure someone was aware. It was a really weird thing. We left a couple block radius and all service came back.

Thanks for confirming that your service seems to be ok now, @Cathy4639

We appreciate you making us aware. We've checked around St Louis, MO 63139 and everything looks fine.

You can always create a report using the AT&T Mark the Spot app. Both Galaxy devices might have the app preloaded in the AT&T Folder. If you don't see it there you can download from Google Play.

We use your feedback to target network optimization and plan future enhancements based on your reporting.

Please give it a try, and keep an eye on your service. Lets us know its working.
