Problem with messages.att.net and Galaxy S5

I use the online messaging to track my children's texting activity. Recently one of them upgraded to a Galaxy S5. Ever since the upgrade, I can only see incoming texts in the online system, not his outgoing ones, except those that are sent as group messages. Can anyone explain this bizarre issue?

I’d be happy to help with your usage of AT&T Messages! This may be due to a specific messaging app being used other than the default, or a provisioning issue. Please sent me a Private Message with the following information and I can look into this for you!


  • Cell and/or account number
  • Full name
  • Email address
  • IMEI of son’s device (dial *#06# on device, or located on label under battery)
  • Son’s cell number
