Hello Gregglue. We'd be happy to explain our mobile hotspot with you.

If you want to find more information about our mobile Hotspots you can always take a look at our plans. These plans I've provided are for our hotspot prepaid plans, which means they won't be able to provide coverage to make phone calls.

The plan you're mentioning appears to be an offer on our AT&T Prepaid plans. When the offer says 'online only, limited time' that means you'll order your service online and get a SIM card sent to you or to a store.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community.

The plan you list is for a phone. It will not work in a hotspot device if that is what you are looking for. If you purchase the phone plan you listed online, you also get 5GB of hotspot data when using your phone as a hotspot. As noted, though, it could take up to 10 days for that data to be added to your account and since you are only here two weeks, you may not get much time to use that data. That $50 price also requires you sign up for autopay. If you do sign up for autopay, make sure you turn autopay off before you leave or you will get charged another $50 every 30 days. Many tourists have made that mistake and not disabled autopay before leaving. Doing so from your home country may prove very difficult if not impossible.
