Post Retry - Problems with Visual Voicemail

Following today's (2/3/2019) ATT system update on my S9, Visual Voicemail displays the wrong images against the list of voicemail messages. I disabled the VV app, then restarted the device, yet the images were still incorrect. It required a manual update to correct the images. There is still something wrong with the VV app because when the app starts, it quickly flashes with the wrong images then swiftly cycles through to the correct image. ATT contacted & they confirmed that the settings on my S9 were correct. I advised them to initiate a software ticket to troubleshoot the VV software.

Anyone else experience this or a similar problem?

My visual voicemail does not work. After five attempts with AT&T support (a few bacame quite snippy) and nearly two hours, it appears AT&T does not have a fix for this. If it continues, I am asking for the $11+ I pay for the VVM to be removed from my account. I am generally displeased with AT&T and am looking for a new provider. Too many problems with AT&T, their data charge is always increasing, and more often than not, my bill is incorrect.

 

Now...no visual voicemail. I give up.
