Pixel 4 sends MMS messages endlessly

I have a new Google Pixel 4. For as long as I've had the new phone (several weeks), photos and gifs will not send properly. I'm using the standard Android Messaging app. My phone continues to say "Sending..." below the photo even though the recipient has received it. This continues, with the recipient receiving the MMS upwards of 20 times, until I manually delete the message my phone is still trying to send. This happens to any recipient, both at home connected to our MicroCell and outside the house connected to the general mobile network. Has anyone else had this issue or know what would cause it? Thanks!

Greetings @kait5243!

While we don't support Google Pixel, there are steps you can take to try and resolve your inability to send MMS.

  • Power off your device completely, then power it back on.
  • Make sure you have a network connection.
  • Perform a Network Settings Reset
    • Go to Settings > More… > Network Settings Reset and tap on Reset to confirm

If your issue persist, you may want to contact Google Support for additional assistance.

We hope this info helps.

these instructions need to be more complete and specific for the Pixel 4XL please

"Go to Settings > More… > Network Settings Reset and tap on Reset to confirm"

is ambiguous.

Still no answer from either AT&T despite days and hours with multiple tech support sessions; so frustrating; why can't AT&T fix a basic simple needed function (sending MMS messages) on my Pixel?

It's AT&T's fault. They say they don't support the Pixel but yet fully support WiFi calling on it which means they technically support as a device of their own. Seeing the same behavior here on a Pixel 3a
