Not receiving verification codes
I have an iPhone 12 and my partner has an iPhone 13. We are on a family plan together and we both recently stopped being able to receive verification codes. This happened after we switched out to new SIM cards, due to a service interruption. The new SIM cards fixed the service issue and we are able to receive all other texts & calls, but no codes, which are necessary for any 2-step verifications for things like bank accounts and logging into AT&T.
3 trips to a store and 6 calls to customer service have not been able to resolve the issue. Anyone have any ideas?

Here's the odd thing. AT&T's Customer Support keeps on telling me there are no known issues even though there are entire forums dedicated to this topic. There only possible resolution is to check if there number is blocked on my phone and that's why I'm not receiving texts. When I asked what the number is, they there are hundreds and I'd therefore, have to unblock all my blocked calls to see if this was a fix.
Bottom line, AT&T Customer Support is really trying but there is such a disconnect within their IT team, who apparently don't have a clue how to address and fix this issue.

Success. I just called the main support number from a different phone:
1-800-331-0500
At the voice prompt I said I was having trouble receiving text messages. It then transferred me to tech. support who knew exactly what the problem was and said lots of customers are having the same issue after a new update. He had me turn off my phone so that he could "refresh and reprovision the phone" from his end. When I turned it back on I tested with my bank and some other websites and it worked.

I called the number you posted. Other than wait time, it was the absolutely fastest call to AT&T ever. I hate calling AT&T. I have literally spent hours adding up to days trying to get issues fixed mostly to no avail. This call was the exception! I responded that “I was having trouble receiving texts.” I was sent to pro tech support and had Luigi in TN. He reset & refreshed my phone, had me turn it off for 10 seconds and turn it back on. He promptly called me back, had me test receiving a verification code…and holy crap! It worked!!! I’m amazed. Best support call ever. Will start here forever more!!! Luigi! You are the best tech ever! Still can’t believe I was on the call for less than 20 minutes! That has to be a record! And that includes hold time. Wow! Thanks so much for the post!!!

•Problem: “I’m having trouble receiving text messages”
•You’ll be transferred to Assurion, Pro-Tech Support. (Do not hang-up…I almost did😳). Wait for tech and explain you aren’t receiving verification codes. They’ll send your phone a reset and refresh. You won’t lose anything.
•Make sure to confirm that they will call you back.
•Turn your phone off for 10 seconds.
•Turn it back on and get your return call.
•Verify you are now receiving codes!
•Yay!!!!
Easiest call to AT&T ever!

I am having the same exact problem - constantly with ATT not sending me the code, now it won't allow me to access my account at all whereas before I was able to choose to go to my account if I hadn't received the verification code. Most annoying.
