Not receiving verification codes

I need to reset my passcode, but in order to do that I need to be able to receive a short code, but I am not/cannot receive them, but in order for customer service to help me with the short code issue, I need my passcode, but in order to reset it I need to be able to receive short codes.

In order to have anyone capable of accessing your account, you'll need to go to an AT&T retail location with valid/up to date identification.

 

You may also schedule an appointment with that location to speak with the  first available sales representative.

Again, are you prepaid?  Prepaid has no service in Japan, and you are blocked from logging in because you’re outside the USA.  You also cannot roam in Japan.  


If you’re postpaid, call the number for travelers 

+1.314.925.6925 free call from your AT&T mobile phone.  

In both cases, you may login with a US VPN.
