Not Receiving Text Messages

Today I hadn't really paid attention to my phone, but I realized people who usually reply to my texts hadn't replied all day.

I asked my dad why he didn't text me back, but he showed me where he had. A friend also told me that they had sent texts.

I have turned my phone off and back on, but I am not receiving any new messages, and I haven't all day. Please help!

In order to provide adequate support, we want to know more about your experience:

What is the make and model of your device? Some devices may encounter specific trends due to a large history in the messaging application.
What is the signal strength of your device, poor or strong? Your phone needs a wireless connection to receive notifications. Let us know whether there are other trends on your device such as with sending and receiving calls and text messages.

Also, visit our Device Support center to make sure your device doesn't require a software update. Once you select your make and model choose System followed by Software update. Make sure to follow the instructions as presented.
