Not Receiving group text messages from tmobile customers

I recently ported from tmobile to att and for about 2 weeks, everything was fine. Last week I noticed that I was not receiving group messages from tmobile family and friends. We are in a group chat with different users (Att, Verizon, and Tmobile). I receive the ones from Tmobile. Individual texts from them, I can get.

I have been having the same problem since I got the IPHONE 13 PRO MAX. I have contacted Apple and ATT. Both have said it’s the other one. I have tried everything you suggested and it still does not work. Next step going to T-MOBILE.

I’m have been a ATT member for may years. I did not port over.

We certainly don't want to lose you as a customer, @Lfrazier68. Let's work together to figure out why you're unable to receive group texts. 

 

Since you've already tried troubleshooting on your end, we'd like to carry this over in a DM to provide advanced support. Please check your Direct Message inbox (it's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums).

 

In the meantime, we have two more troubleshooting tips that may resolve what you're experiencing with your messages: 

  • Check your device's operating system. ~ It's important that you're running the latest software to enhance your device's performance.
  • Check your device's memory storage. ~ If it's full, messages may not come through.

ATT is losing a customer this week. Poor support for group text with T-MOBILE. I hope they resolve it for y’all soon. Me and my five lines will got to T-MOBILE.

I really don't understand how AT&T is unable to fix this issue. I have a family member that ported over 6 lines from T-Mobile to AT&T a week after I did and she is not having this issue. It's really frustrating.

I agree. It is frustrating. Use my lines for work a group texted are used between me and my coworkers for important issues. Have to find a more reliable service.

@Lfrazier68 you've been with AT&T for some time now and this just randomly started happening to you? It's only been a month for me and this is very disheartening.

UPDATE: AT&T has fixed whatever the issue was. I can now receive group text messages and pictures from T-Mobile customers. They had to put in an ICU Support ticket that they say is handled by an external company that they use.
