No internet access from my mobile hotspot

I have a mobile hotspot through my service, yet when I try connecting another device to that hotspot, it says connected, no internet. Why?

Hello @JenlEvans75!

 

Let's look into that for you. How many devices are already connected to your Hot Spot? Has this device been connected to this particular Hot Spot before? If so, has anything on your device change since its last connection?

 

Try resolving your experience by using our Device Support tool.

 

Simply sign in to your AT&T account, select Troubleshoot Device, and under the category Device/software issues select Hotspots and follow the prompts as presented.

Thank you for the advice. At the time, I was trying to let my husband hit
off my hotspot so he could get internet. However, it kept saying connected,
no internet. Then I tried my laptop. Still, the same thing. This was a
different device than what I had before, and I had to get help setting up
the APN when I switched phones.

So, I will try your advice and see if that works. I will keep you posted.

I have had this problem for two days now.  I did the trouble shooter and ended up with a message, saying there’s maintenance in our area.  I still don’t have Internet access.

any resolution with this? I’ve had this same issues with both my iPhone and iPad they used to connect but now just say no internet access. I got new SIM card for my iPad and new iPhone and still same issue. Any help is greatly appreciated I need this for when I’m road for work.
