NFL Sunday Ticket - Data Usage (Confirmed Data Free for AT&T Customers)
Long time AT&T customer here. We are still on an older Family plan 30gb+5gb bonus and data roll over which is a better and cheaper value for us vs. the current unlimited plans.
When using the Directv app on my phone or tablet we enjoy Data Free streaming. I purchased the Sunday Ticket MAX @ $395.00 for this seasons football.
My question is, when using the Sunday Ticket App to watch the games will it be Data Free also, especially for spending almost another $400?

Not sure what you mean, you already answered your question when you said: “When using the Directv app on my phone or tablet we enjoy Data Free streaming”. The app is data free, it does not matter which Sunday Ticket package you have.

I was referring to using the NFL Sunday Ticket App, my normal DirecTV is Data Free, just was unsure about streaming Sunday Ticket.
Thanks for the info. After I watched my game I checked my Data Usage and there was 0mb data used!! Woot!
Which should be expected for $395.00 extra 😉
