Need help with SMS text spam that I replied to.
I got a text from a 93639452 number yesterday morning that told me that there was a past due amount and to reply with 2 to schedule a payment. I assumed that this was legit, because I assumed that the bill was due, and that there was a card ending in XXXX. However, I'm not the account holder (I have 1 line, they have another), and I don't know if the account holder even has a card that ends in those digits. But I replied with 2 in a panic and got a secondary message with a reply that the charge was confirmed.
Some questions. The account holder had already paid the bill weeks ago, so is it possible that there isn't even a charge on their accounts?
If there was a charge, is there a way that the charge can be reversed?
What can I do now? I'm worried that I may have gotten them a charge by complete accident.

Any unauthorized charge to a charge card needs to be disputed directly with the bank. Only the card holder can see if there was a charge or not. I guess you need to tell them about the text.

They've been told. Thankfully there doesn't seem to be any charges, but they'll be going through some steps soon just in case.
What else can I do on my end? I'm looking to report the numbers that sent me these texts. I feel very bad about this and any further help would be appreciated.
