Mobile hotspot Temporary network problem

Hi, @Webdog247,

 

We'd love to help with this. Are you currently unable to access wireless data at all or only when you try to open a mobile hotspot? Check your device with the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Sign into your myAT&T account, pick the device you're having the mobile hotspot issues with, click on the preceding link, click on Fix it now, and follow the steps provided to troubleshoot the issue. If this doesn't help, could you tell us what type of device you're trying to use as a mobile hotspot?

I'm having the same issue. Has been half a week and AT&T hasn't resolved it. They kept passing me off to other technicians that read the same script, and nothing has worked. The error says you don't have an eligible plan (which I do since I have an unlimited plus plan). They have yet to fix it after I've submitted a case. Extremely rude customer service as well.

Same here...........I can't hotspot.  This has been going on for over a week, and before that, I was having internet connection problems.  I spoke to 2 different helpful and friendly American technicians, who said they were working on my local tower to improve the service.  I have internet, now, but since then no hotspot capability.  Is this due to preparing towers for 5G takeover?  Because it needs to GO!  5G is not welcome here!

Did anyone ever get this resolved? I was on earlier and I had a hot spot it was fine and now everytime I try I keep getting that same error "temporary network problem that prevents the enablement of the mobile hotspot function"
